Workshop Overview
Each workshop begins with a heart-opening Cocoa Ceremony, setting the tone for a weekend of deep healing, alignment, and learning. Classes run from 10 AM to 4 PM, with a 45-minute lunch break. Please bring your own lunch and drinks—water, tea and coffee will be readily available during our breaks.
Usui Reiki Level 1 Certification Class (Shoden)
April 12, 2025 from 11-5pm
Day One: Learning to Heal Yourself and Others Reiki Level 1 is your initiation into the world of energy healing. This foundational course focuses on self-healing, clearing blockages, and connecting to the universal energy that flows through all living things. No prior experience is necessary—just an open heart and willingness to receive.
What to Expect:
Understanding the history and principles of Reiki from a Traditional Japanese and Western perspective
Study the five elements of Reiki
Return to the traditional roots of Reiki and the original meaning of Reiki
In-depth look at the five precepts
Learn the traditional use of symbols and mantras
Develop inner spiritual growth and enlightenment
Learn the Japanese energetic system (three diamonds)
How to perform Reiki
Self-healing hand positions
Hand positions for healing others
Receive Japanese reiju (attunement)
Historical account of Mikao Usui
Traditional Japanese Shoden Techniques, including:
Kenyoku ho (dry bathing)
Seishin Toitsu (creating a unified mind)
Joshin kokyu ho (focusing the mind on one thing with breath)
Shuchu Reiki (concentrated spiritual energy, or group healing)
Gassho (creates unity within the body)
Western Reiki Training:
Power symbol (Western use)
Chakra energy system
Use of spirit guides
Western techniques:
Beaming

Chakra balancing

A Level 1, 2, and 3 class manual written by world-renowned Reiki experts and authors Frans and Bronwen Stiene (founders of The International House of Reiki) will be available for $30.
A free Shoden Reiki Level 1 certificate will be given at the end of class.
Usui Reiki Level 2 Certification Class (Okuden)

Day Two: Unlocking Distance Healing and Reiki Symbols Building upon the foundation of Level 1, Reiki Level 2 takes your practice to the next level by introducing sacred symbols and techniques for sending Reiki energy across time and space.
What to Expect:
Introduction to Reiki symbols and their uses
How to send distance Reiki healing
Strengthening your intuition and connection to Reiki energy
Techniques for emotional and mental healing
How to integrate Reiki into your daily life and professional practice
Second attunement to amplify your Reiki abilities
After completing Level 2, you will be certified to practice Reiki professionally and offer energy healing to clients if you choose.

Prerequisites: This class is for everyone.
Preparation: Wear comfortable clothing. Bring lunch, a bottle of water, a pencil, and a notepad to take notes.
Duration: The Shoden Level I class is a 5-hour intensive class.

Awaken & Align: A Sound Bath Journey of Sacred Connection
Join us for a transformative 1 1/2 sound bath & meditation, breathwork and sound bath session designed to promote deep relaxation, balance, and inner peace. This immersive experience will include guided meditation with breathwork, followed by a sound bath featuring an array of soothing instruments such as sound bowls, sweet chimes, ocean drum and other tools.
We’ll also host an Optional Crystal Exchange. If you have a crystal that you feel you haven’t fully connected with, bring it along—this exchange allows you to pass it on and find a new crystal that resonates with you. We’ll do a quick clearing and activation to harmonize with your new crystal’s energy. If you don't have one, we have one for you.
